Leon Burton Memorial Fish Fry for St.Jude Recap
Emory Church would to thank everyone who attended, ordered a carryout meal,
or made a donation to the event.
- Served approximately 500 plates, a record for the event.
- Raised over $11,000 that will be donated to St. Jude.
We would like to thank the families who shared their experiences with St. Jude Children's Hospital as their kids battle and are winning the fight against cancer.
We also would like to thank the people and companies that donated their time and/or supplies, and especially those who prepared the delicious homemade deserts for the event. Their hard work and donations ensure all the money collected from the St. Jude Fish Fry is donated to St. Jude Children Hospital.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE
Christmas Eve 6:00pm
Join us as we celebrate the birth of our savor. We will be singing Christmas carols, reading the Christmas Story and taking communion.
All are welcome.

Seniors Luncheon
October 17, 2020 11:00am - 1:00pm
We are changing the format this year, for those not able or not comfortable attending the luncheon, we will deliver meals to them on the day of the luncheon. For those that choose to attend we will serve lunch and have a short program.
November
Homecoming Service and Luncheon
Emory has decided to postpone the annual Homecoming Service and Luncheon due to ongoing concerns about the coronavirus and the safety of our congregation and the many friends that return to renew old friendships.
Date to be determined
Emory Homecoming is traditionally held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

2020 VBS Highlights
Here are some of the videos from the virtual VBS Emory did last year. Even though everyone was not able to actually visit the Mystery Island, we still managed to have fun, have some interesting crafts, some tasty snacks. Then to finish the visit each day we had a bible lesson from one of the tribal leaders.
2021 MYSTERY ISLAND VBS
The adventure is June 21 - 25. We start at 5:30 and finish at 8:00. We will be meeting Monday - Friday.
Each day we plan to:
- Have a snack during the opening assembly
- Bible lesson
- Work on some island crafts
- Sing some island songs
